I think it’s safe to say that we all wish we could’ve started sooner. Imagine where your business could be if you started it a year earlier. Imagine how much more experience you would have if you started a year earlier.

Now imagine how much more you would know if you were introduced to entrepreneurship when you were seven. You can’t go back in time, but you can give that opportunity to your child or another kid you know.

Quinton Carlin was the first person to turn me on to Think and Grow Rich by describing it as the book that the majority of billionaires have read. I have since encountered many other people who have suggested the book. So I started reading it 2 weeks ago and finished it today. Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill is indeed, as the cover suggests, an inspirational classic.

In the opening line Hill mentions a money-making secret that he has spent the majority of his life analyzing. He received the secret more than 50 years prior to writing the book from a gentleman by the name of Andrew Carnegie.

Today I received an email from the Marketing and Events Manager of Inc. Magazine, Catherine Daake. Thirty years ago, Inc. Founder Bernie Goldhirsh challenged the editors of Inc. to “think of the business-person as an artist using both sides of his brain.”

In celebration of Inc. Magazine’s 30th anniversary, the publication has launched “The Great Garage Hunt,” an interactive online game.
