As an Australian teen, Jacob Cass first began making money on his terms as an eBay seller. But his true love was graphic design.

Jacob nabbed his first freelance job at the age of sixteen and in November 2007 he started a website and blog dedicated to his business, Just Creative Design. He immediately began raking in clients, awards, and recognition. Not satisfied with one successful blog, Jacob launched Logo Designer Blog and Logo of the Day to further preach his passion.

In January 2010, after earning a degree in graphic design, Jacob received a job offer from an unlikely source: his Twitter account. He packed his bags and moved from Sydney, Australia to Brooklyn, New York, where he currently works for Carrot Creative – a marketing agency that focuses on new media design and development. With what little free time he has, Jacob enjoys travelling and listening to music.

In January 2010, Alex and his business partner, 24-year-old Seth Waite, launched their first product – a web theme modeled after Blogussion’s unique style – to immediate success. With an Alexa ranking under 20,000, Blogussion is now the highest ranking blog by a 16-year-old on the Internet.

When Alex isn’t helping people around the world make their blogs as popular and profitable as possible, he’s just a normal high school junior in New Jersey. He lives with his family and enjoys camping, playing ping-pong, and cheering on the New England Patriots.

Today I received an email from Katie Matteo, one of the officers of the group, with 6 logo designs. I have posted them in this article. I value your opinion so please take a look and let me know what you think.

Note: You can see the final logo in the heading at the top of this page. It’s an evolution from Option 5.

This is a guest post by Ben Johnson, of Logoinn.com.

Have you noticed a huge variation in cost of logo designing these days? With more and more online logo design companies offering competitive prices on different design packages with other design services as well, who do you think would go for a design agency who charges thousands of dollars for a single logo design?

These are the questions which need to be answered; when hiring a design agency is just one of the options.
