No matter how intelligent, daring, or successful, every business person has made the same mistake: they’ve all misspelled ‘entrepreneurship’. To help us learn how to spell this notoriously tricky word, I’ve concocted a few entrepreneurial acronyms.
The 16 words are tricky in their own right, so this should be a lesson in vocabulary as well as spelling.

Saturday, July 11th at midnight I embarked upon a journey to climb four 14’ers in one day. For those non-Coloradoans, a 14’er is a mountain that is 14,000+ feet above sea level. There are over 50 14’ers in Colorado and I plan on climbing each one. In my most recent expedition, I realized climbing mountains is similar to running businesses.
I’ve listed four obvious and four not-so-obvious similarities between entrepreneurship and climbing mountains.

Can anyone be an entrepreneur? Absolutely. Can anyone be a successful entrepreneur? Probably not. Successful entrepreneurs are a rare breed. Not everyone meets the requirements. In general, there are four characteristics an entrepreneur must possess in order to be successful.

For the last week or so, I have been exchanging emails with a bright young lady who wants to start a business. Initially she wanted to pursue something other than a lemonade stand. However, she weighed her options and decided to go with selling lemonade.
She spent several hours outside without selling a single cup. There are a few lessons to be learned from Chelsea’s lemonade stand.
